Sending Soldiers Love, One Heartfelt Card at a Time
Our mission: Show those who protect and serve us we care!
Love Troop® began as a simple family act of support and connection and has blossomed into an ongoing global campaign whose goal is to ensure that no active service member, veteran, first responder or family members feels alone or unappreciated.
Love Troop was created by Emily Spencer, whose husband Scott was deployed to Afghanistan three months after their wedding.
What do we do?
Love Troop collects, assembles, and mails cards and care packages to military personnel deployed across the globe, as well as to veterans, first responders and military families in need. We work with schools, religious organizations, seniors, veteran organizations, corporations, businesses, and other caring communities to show those who protect and serve us that we care.

- Assemble and send care packages to soldiers serving away from home
- Carry out programs to help veterans and military families who are struggling
Why Love Troop
Serving our country and communities is a selfless calling. Along with sacrifice comes emotional hardship including loneliness, isolation and family separation.
We connect civilians with those who serve to lessen these emotional hardships as well as overcome our own feelings of helplessness.

Military Families Here Are Also Serving
Emily and Scott Spencer were married Sept. 29, 2012 in Cambridge. They met while studying at Harvard. Three months later, Scott left for Afghanistan.
